RESOLUT RE New Mexico office is making headlines! In an article about recent deals in the Albuquerque commercial real estate market, Albuquerque Business First featured a significant expansion for Hibbett, formerly Hibbett Sports. RESOLUT RE New Mexico Principal, Austin Tidwell, is at the forefront of Hibbett’s expansion Into the Albuquerque market and has successfully brokered not one, but two deals for Hibbett.
Hibbett is set to open the two new stores at 11035 Menaul Blvd. NE and 5001 Montgomery Blvd. NE by the end of the year. Austin Tidwell, who is representing Hibbett in these transactions, shared that these openings are part of a broader plan to add three to four more locations in Albuquerque next year. Tidwell explained, “They’ve decided to go from the tertiary markets they’ve historically been in, [such as] Los Lunas, Roswell, Farmington, and they’re now coming into Albuquerque because they’re now selling more of the athletic shoes and fitness items. That’s changed their business model a little.”
The Menaul Boulevard store will be located beside dd’s Discounts, occupying the space previously held by The Kickstand, a bike shop. The Montgomery Boulevard store will be nestled between Walgreens and Burlington in the Montgomery Plaza shopping center. All Homes Construction is handling the renovations for both locations.
