Tanger Outlets Houston, a 353,000-square-foot mall with more than 65 stores at 5885 Gulf Freeway in Texas City, has added several women-and minority-owned small businesses to its lineup of tenants.
Lex & Mae Southern Yankee, a women-owned and operated local shop selling graphic tees, apparel and accessories, occupies 3,200 square feet.
Hana Brands, a minority-owned shop selling women’s apparel, intimates, formal wear, swimwear and footwear in a range of sizes, occupies 2,706 square feet next to Express.
S+S Sweet Spot, a women-owned business, has 3,242 square feet for arcade games, birthday parties and sweets.
E&A Outlaws Western Wear, a minority-and family-owned store specializing in handmade western boots and accessories, leased a 1,708-square-foot shop.
CKD’s Golf Carts, a women-owned company specializing in accessories for golf carts, occupies 3,500 square feet.
Aim On Target, a minority-owned venue to shoot air guns at targets for the chance to win prizes, has a 3,000-square-foot space next to Chico’s.
Beyond Investments, a local investor, purchased Briar Forest Plaza, a fully leased, 11,981-square-foot retail center at 13346 Briar Forest Drive in the Energy Corridor. David Luther and Dakota Workman of NewQuest Properties represented the buyer. Kelley Workman of NewQuest represented the local seller, F6 Properties. Tenants include Russo’s New York Pizzeria and Tulipo Nails.
MoveNation Dance Academy leased 3,900 square feet at 821 Frostwood Drive. Sandra Aronds of Lee & Associates represented the tenant.
United Built Homes, a custom homebuilder and finance company, leased 3,200 square feet for a design center in the Pinnacle Park Shopping Center, at 2515 S. Gulf Freeway in League City. Elise Weatherall of Wulfe & Co represented the tenant. Daniel Mueller of Brockway Commercial represented the landlord.
Luxo Boutique leased 1,710 square feet at 22121 Katy Freeway, Katy. Joaquin Orozco and Eric Broussard of Resolut RE represented the landlord. Claudia Marmol Flores of Walzel Properties represented the tenant.
Central Boxing leased 4,500 square feet at Little York Plaza, 1409 Little York. Joaquin Orozco and Taki Dallis of Resolut RE represented the landlord.
Adventure Kids Playcare has leased 4,529 square feet at Lakeland Village Center, 10611 Fry Road, Cypress. Joaquin Orozco and Samuel Hartley of RESOLUT RE represented the tenant. Jacob Weersing of Capital Retail Properties represented the landlord, Howard Hughes Corp.
St. Michael’s Pharmacy leased 527 square feet at San Jacinto Plaza, 5067 Garth Road, Baytown. Nick Lovitt of KM Realty represented the landlord.
Jersey Mike’s Subs opened at 1413 S. Voss Road. The location is operated by franchise owner John Enterline.
